Safetyflex's Crash Bench 40 - IWA-14 Crash Tested Surface Mount Bench stops a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at 40mph/64kph. This unique anti-terrorist security bench has been developed by the Safetyflex design team as part of our new street furniture range. This product has a dual purpose and is not just a security block - it can also be used for leisure with the inclusion of seats and tables. This project can also be used for flood defence by river banks, as it is not fixed to the ground and can be moved around to suit your requirements. An area is marked out on the floor area where you require installation, and the crash bench is placed on the surface. There are no foundations, no pinning and no fixings required, as the product is completely surface mounted and comes ready for use with a single bench as standard. If required, an additional bench can be supplied to transform the Crash Bench 40 into a double bench.

Crash Bench 40 can be used as a permanent or temporary solution.It has been IWA-14 crash tested to stop a 7.5 tonne vehicle at 40mph/64kph. ASTM & PAS68 test comparisons are available.
